Training Programs

Puppy Program

Puppy training is the FOUNDATION to all other dog training that you want your canine companion to learn! It teaches you how to set basic boundaries for your pup that will have a lasting impression for the rest of their life. Puppy training is the single, MOST IMPORTANT training you can give to your dog. This program includes five (5) training lessons of about 45 minutes each. Sessions will include but are not limited to: basic sit, stay & recall training, teaching manners, basic behavior modification & shaping, biting & chewing behaviors, potty training, crate training and much more!

Basic Obedience Program

The Basic Obedience Package is the second most important training that you can give your canine companion. It teaches them to begin to listen and become more attentive to you (the owner) and focus more on tasks. This package includes six (6) 1-hour sessions and the basic obedience commands of: sit, down, stay, heel & recall (come/here) as well as some minor behavior modification & re-shaping training.

Advanced Obedience Program

The advanced obedience package provides the "bells and whistles" for your dogs training experience. It allows for the advanced training of sit, down, stay, heel, recall and other obedience commands OFF-LEASH!!! This type of training is often referred to as the "pretty" training because it allows you to show off your canines listening skills while being off leash in distracted areas and environments. This package includes eight (8) 1-hour training lessons, an E-collar class and an E-collar. Prior to signing up for this program, it is required that ALL parties who will be involved in the training of the canine attend the E-collar class. For those who want the ultimate listening companion, this package is for you!

Alpha Canine (aggressive) Program

The alpha program is designed to target canines who are exhibiting aggressive behavior towards people and/or other animals. It includes ten (10) training lessons of approximately 45 minutes each, an E-collar class and an E-collar (these lessons are shorter than normal due to the complexity of the training and the stress that it can put on the canine). Prior to signing up for this program, it is required that ALL parties who will be involved in the training of the canine attend the E-collar class. Price will vary depending on complexity of the issues being training.

Meet & Greet

The "Meet & Greet" is used to allow the trainer to meet your canine companion and get a better idea and understanding of the training wants, needs and goals of the individual. It allows the trainer to explain how the training will work and be able to provide suggestions and recommendations as far as the current training packages and deals that we can offer.

*NOTE: The $50 fee for this appointment will be credited back to the training or training program that the client chooses IF the they decide to use Paws of Pride for their training wants/needs.
